Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Mazin Ibrahim is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Princess Grace Hospital. He is an advocate for day-case arthroplasty surgery, and is interested in enhancing patient recovery following joint arthroplasty surgery. He considers robotic surgery an integral part of enhanced patient recovery.
Mr Ibrahim completed his higher surgical training at University College London. He trained at the University College London Hospitals, The Royal London Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He has completed two fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery: the first at the renowned Rorabeck Bourne Arthroplasty Centre, part of the London Health Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada; and the second at London’s University College Hospital.
Mr Ibrahim is as a substantive lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery consultant at the Whittington Health and the University College London Hospitals NHS Trust joint venture. He has published many research studies and book chapters, and has presented his work in the academic arena. He is passionate about teaching, and has a postgraduate degree in Medical Education from Staffordshire University. He is on the faculty for several courses, including at the Royal College of Surgeons.
